It is also important to note that under a Non-Medical Plan, there is no provision for you to claim under the following sections of your policy if the claim arises from, is related to or associated with any injury or sickness suffered by you:

Note: The Cancellation Fees & Lost Deposits benefit is a benefit that covers you from the moment you buy your policy.

An Accidental Death benefit is payable if you are injured and you die because of that injury within 12 months of the injury; or Something you are travelling on or in disappears, sinks or crashes and your body is not found within 12 months and you are presumed dead
Individual Plan: $25,000
A Permanent Disability Benefit is payable for total loss of sight in one or both eyes or loss of use of a hand or foot within 12 consecutive months of, and because of, an injury sustained during your journey
Individual Plan: $25,000
Cover for cancellation fees and lost deposits for pre-paid travel arrangements due to unforeseen circumstances neither expected nor intended by you or which are outside your control, such as:
- Natural Disasters
However, please note that under the Non-Medical Plan there is no provision for you to claim under this section of the policy if the claim arises from, is related to or associated with any injury or sickness suffered by you.
Individual Plan: Unlimited Benefit
Cover for additional accommodation and travel expenses resulting from:
- Transport Disruption
- Loss of Travel Documents
- Your home being rendered uninhabitable
Also, cover for your reasonable accommodation and travel expenses for you to be with your travelling companion if they cannot continue with their journey due to:
- Medical Evacuation
Please note that under the Non-Medical Plan there is no provision for you to claim under this section of the policy if the claim arises from, is related to or associated with any injury or sickness suffered by you.
Individual Plan: $50,000
Cover for additional meals and accommodation expenses if your journey is disrupted due to circumstances beyond your control after an initial 6 hour delay.
Individual Plan: $2,000
Cover for additional travel expenses following transport delays to reach events such as:
- Sporting Event
- Pre-paid travel/tour arrangements
Individual Plan: $5,000
Cover for replacing luggage stolen or reimbursing repair cost for accidentally damaged items, including:
- Personal Effects
- Mobile Phones
- Personal Computers
Individual Plan: $10,000
Cover to purchase essential items of clothing and other personal items following luggage delayed, misdirected or misplaced by your carrier for more than 12 hours
Individual Plan: $500
Cover to replace costs of travel documents lost or stolen from you during your journey, such as:
- Debit Card, Credit Card or Travel Money Card.
- Travel Documents
- Travellers Cheques
Individual Plan: $5,000
Cover for the following items stolen from your person, up to $250 for all claims combined:
- Bank Notes
- Currency Notes
- Postal Orders
- Money Orders
Individual Plan: $250
Cover for the excess payable on a Rental Vehicle resulting from your rental vehicle being:
- Damaged and/or cost of returning rental vehicle due to you being unfit
Individual Plan: $3,000
Cover for legal liability including legal expenses for bodily injuries or damage to property of other persons as a result of a claim made against you
Individual Plan: $2.5 million
