What is included under the Rental Vehicle cover?

When you hire a rental vehicle the rental company provides an option to pay a cost per day to reduce the Excess on claims including loss or damage.

By taking out Travel Insurance with MyCover on Plans A, B or D this cover is included, up to the benefit limit.

This cover is available when you purchase the following MyCover policies:

• Plan A - Comprehensive International
• Plan B - Australia Only
• Plan D - Frequent Traveller

*Cover for car excess payable on Motor Vehicle Insurance resulting from your rental vehicle being:

• Stolen
• Crashed
• Damaged and/or cost of returning rental vehicle due to you being unfit

Single/Duo Plan: $3,000
Family Plan: $3,000

Note: A "Rental Vehicle" means a campervan/motor home that does not exceed 4.5 tonne, a sedan, hatchback or station-wagon, four wheel drive or mini bus/people mover rented from a licensed motor vehicle rental company.
